Round 9 v Gymea PDF Print
13A Match report.17/6/06V Gymea. Loss 36-12A very tough game as always against Gymea. Gymea
are a very big team with strong defense that is very hard to crack. In his 100th game for the
club, James Deen lead the team out onto the field, and by example. He worked tirelessly all
game in both attack and defense. He was supported well by Luke who made some great runs and
put Gymea on the back foot on a number of occasions. Our first half try was scored by Ryan D
who did well to gather and put down a well placed bomb put up by Mitchell. Our second try was
scored by Brett, who as always could be relied upon to give 100% in attack and
defense..Tyler W kicked two good goals and has cemented himself into the role of goal
kicker.Jordan , Tyler H, and Shaun pulled off some great tackles when needed, and with Liam
and David worked very hard trying to crack Gymeas rock solid defense.Joel C worked very hard
around the ruck, trying to created opportunities, while Jacob and Ryan B looked dangerous on
a number of occasions, but luck did not go their way.Being a small team we are going to have
to find a way to contain the big boys if we are going to be successful.Work hard at training
and keep trying.ManagerSue Jennings
